The work Hamsters Reise durch’s Kupferland deals with the process of deformation through temperature and its replicability. The starting point of the work was to create heatable electronic plates which could be used to warm individual body parts. Through the engagement with the medium, the physical aspects of this work came more into focus, which led to an explorative process of diverse aspects, including various temperatures, patterns or sizes, to be tested.
This work was produced in the context of a lecture held by Walter Lunzer and Paul-Reza Klein.

Diese Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Verformung durch Temperatur und der Replizierbarkeit dessen. Ausgangspunkt der Arbeit war die Idee von beheizbaren Elektronikplatinen, insbesondere solche für das Erwärmen von einzelnen Körperstellen. Durch die Auseinandersetzung mit diesem Medium sind die technisch physikalischen Aspekte der Arbeit immer mehr in den Vordergrund gerückt. Dies hat zu einem explorativen Prozess geführt. Dabei wurden Aspekte wie unterschiedliche Temperaturen, Muster oder auch Größen erprobt.
Diese Arbeit entstand in einem Seminar geleitet von Walter Lunzer und Paul-Reza Klein.
Johanna Lindner studies art and communicative practice (kkp) and design, material culture and experimental practice (dex) at the University of Applied Arts. She is a sculptor, graphic and communication designer and likes to deal with organic forms in her work.
Hannah Lex is a student of art and communicative practice (kkp) and design, material culture and experimental practice (dex) as well as movement and sport. In particular, she is engaged with body and space and the coexistence of these two through drawing.
Anna Reichsfeld studies art and communicative practice (kkp) and design, material culture and experimental practice (dex) at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. She has additionally completed training as a graphic designer and since her studies she has focused on designing ceramics.
Johanna Lindner studiert Kunst und kommunikative Praxis (kkp) und Design, materielle Kultur und experimentelle Praxis (dex) an der Universität für angewandte Kunst. Sie ist Bildhauerin, Grafik- und Kommunikationsdesignerin und setzt sich in ihren Arbeiten gerne mit organischen Formen auseinander.
Hannah Lex ist Studentin der Fächer Kunst und kommunikative Praxis (kkp) und Design, materielle Kultur und experimentelle Praxis (dex) sowie Bewegung und Sport. Im Besonderen beschäftigt sie sich zeichnerisch mit Körper und Raum und dem Miteinander dieser Beiden.
Anna Reichsfeld studiert Kunst und kommunikative Praxis (kkp) und Design, materielle Kultur und experimentelle Praxis (dex) an der Universität für angewandte Kunst Wien. Sie hat zusätzlich eine abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Grafik Designerin und setzt seit ihrem Studium einen Fokus auf das Gestalten von Keramiken.
